You Are Precious

Because you are precious in my sight, and honored, and I love you, I give people in return for you, nations in exchange for your life.

Isaiah 43:4 NRSV


We often wish for the simple things in life to feel loved. Sometimes a kind word can give someone the courage to face the hardest battles. And a simple assurance from a person can lift heavy burdens off one's shoulders. We all search to simply have someone who understands our heart and who chooses to stay beside us even in moments of shame and failure. But, what we often do not understand is that, when in search of someone special to feel loved in this world, we forget that we are special in God's sight.

His love is the light that we search for in our lives. In times when our burdens become too heavy to bear, His voice becomes our strength and guidance. He knows our every thought and He sees the reason behind our prayers. He is a faithful and compassionate father, and only ever asks us to surrender all things and trust Him. Jesus saw us so worthy of His love, to sacrifice His own life for us. Hence, we should never look down on ourselves or feel any less worthy than others because we are special in the eyes of God!

Always remember that we have a God who understands our hearts and whose presence has never once left us. Let's turn to God and talk to him in moments of happiness or sadness and build a relationship with Him. For our God has a purpose and a plan planned out for our lives. And He assures us to simply trust and wait in His presence, so that His love can use us to be a light for many more in this world.


We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

Prayer of Praise

God, we thank you for being a kind and compassionate father in our lives. We praise you for being a constant anchor and for always being patient with us. Lord, help us to simply trust and wait in your presence in difficult times and we ask that your love should fill our lives so much that it overflows to others through us.

It is so by Faith and by Faith so it is. AMEN❣
