Shining In His Timing

There are times where we feel stressed and worry about our future, being clueless of what is going to happen next. We may have plans for ourselves but doubt about whether it will work out or not. Often we compare ourselves with others thinking they are more capable and well versed than us, at times we overthink a lot about many things and that results in low self esteem and causes insecurities within ourselves. Trust me when I say, I have been there and that's when I came across this verse in my devotion.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah-29:11-13 NIV

This scripture clearly says that God has declared a future for us which gives hope and peace. As He continues to say in the next verse "call upon me and pray to me and I will hear you" and what could be more comforting than this. As humans, we often vent our worries and troubles to people. But, how will that become our permanent solution or of what use could it be? We also put ourselves into a situation where we feel insecure and confused, but God says that He is going to remove those thoughts and replace them with peaceful thoughts in our mind. When we trust in the Lord with all our heart He does wondrous things in our lives.

Call to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV

We are unsure about what God is going to do with our future but believe that it is going to be amazing. He will take us to heights which we may have never seen, He makes us unique and special among everyone, be sure that when Christ is living within you, your value is high. The basic quality in christian life is humbleness. It may be a tough process but it is of so much worth in the end.

It may take days, months or even years but we will definitely receive our blessings at the right time. Sometimes we judge ourselves for what we are at present, but to be honest that is not going to be the end and it is not permanent. Whatever we are going through right now in our life is just a phase. God has a separate blessing for each of us and will let us shine in His perfect time. It is all about patience and the faith we have in him in His timing. It is better not to stress ourselves too much but let God do His thing. But make sure that you persist in faith and seek God at all times.

My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my hope is from Him. Psalm- 62:5 NASB
