God Knows The Real You

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.

Psalms 139:1‭-‬4 NIV


I used to feel good about the fact that no one knows me fully, at least that is how I thought for a long time. But God proved it all wrong. He said Nah-uh! I know who you are, I can see everything you do and I know what you're thinking in your mind and what you feel in your heart. That's the reality, we often think that no one knows the “real me”, that nobody knows what we do in secret🤭

We struggle with our failures, we battle with our flesh, our insecurities, but we manage to mask it all up with a smile on our face. That does not work with the God who says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 1:5 NIV


When we know God and continue to reject Him just for the timely pleasures of the world, we are losing true love, grace, compassion, blessings, promises, peace, joy….and everything that is for eternity.

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again?

Galatians 4:9 NASB


God knows what's hurting you, He knows how much you're battling with life, He knows what is disturbing you. Only God knows what others say about you, He knows every single secret that you're trying to cover up, afraid that someone you love would leave🥺

Today, God says I want to help you. I love you. I have a plan and purpose for you because I have created you. God is willing to redeem you, He's ready to forgive you. God is willing to work in you and through you so that you could help someone struggling with life and not knowing a way out. He has given us the gift of Salvation and it is ours to protect it from the eyes of the enemy.

Remember that God works for Our Good and His Glory🙌


I encourage you to say this prayer with a humble heart,

God, amidst all chaos and pain I trust that you know all my deepest desires and hurts. I come to you with a humble heart and I pray that you'd help me trust in this process, Thank you for loving me despite all my imperfections. I Praise you and I Love you, Lord.

It is so by Faith and by Faith so it is. Amen❤
