Isn’t it wonderful? That the Mighty God who created us, calls us His chosen one! We live in a world where all things around us constantly change and we are blessed to be set apart to know about the truth of His words which remain eternal. That is why it is necessary for us to be prepared for the calling God has in our lives and be ready for the responsibilities we receive.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10 ESV
As we are only a few days from stepping into a new year, it is time for us to look forward to new hope and new promises in our life and be equipped with strength and wisdom for what is ahead of us. Therefore, it is important for us to stand firm in our faith, to honor God in all our ways, and to prepare ourselves to step into the world every day with His armor around us! God is the strength of our heart and portion forever!
Stand therefore, and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Father, we thank you for your grace in our lives, we pray that you’d prepare us for the calling you have in our lives. Give us a spirit of obedience and eagerness to learn more from you, Jesus. We submit all our ways to you today and we ask for your spirit to change us and make us worthy to serve you.
