Wonderful Counselor

“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Matthew 11:28-29 NRSV

There is a saying that once really touched my heart, “A journey to a thousand steps begins with the first.” It helped me in making many decisions in my life, but there comes a situation where everything becomes so overwhelming that at times we would not be able to see past our problems and responsibilities. That is when I learned to remind myself each time, that His grace and mercy are new every morning! And I believe that the grace of God is enough for me every day to carry me through in every situation. That is why it is time for us to trust only in the Lord who Has all counsel and wisdom, learn to depend only on Him at all times.

But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

As we step into this new year, let us learn to kneel down in the presence of God and ask for His advice and strength. And when we go to Him for counsel with a humble heart, our Father who loves us very much will provide us all we need and lead us through every storm. Because our power and victory are only through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.


Father, glory be to your name! Today, We pray for you to help us be reminded every time when we feel overwhelmed, that you are our way maker! We trust only in you Lord and we pray for your peace and counsel to lead us in all our ways.

It is so by Faith, and by Faith so it is. AMEN❤
