You get the chicken only by hatching the egg, not by smashing it. The key to everything is patience.
We have to learn to be patient in every situation because it is one of the signs that we are the followers of Christ.
By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.
Galatians 5:22-23 NRSV
The ungodly do not have any reason to wait, but we as the children of God should learn how to wait on God. The Lord’s timing is always perfect and everything happens according to His will. So, when He moves, we move!
Even God waited and He still waits,
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9 NRSV
God waited for us to discover His love and mercy and turn to Him. He is still waiting for this world to repent. He could always judge us at any moment, but He himself is being patient with us and this gives us no reason to not be patient in our daily lives.
The level of patience that we have reflects the level of Faith that we have in God.
Be patient, therefore, beloved, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious crop from the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains. 8 You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord, is near.
James 5:7-8
If you have the faith that God would lead your life, you would always learn to be patient.
The next time you are dealing with a difficult situation or people, take this as a chance and try to use this opportunity to develop your patience.
God is not a human being, that he should lie, or a mortal, that he should change his mind.
Has he promised, and will he not do it?
Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
Numbers23:19
Prayer For Patience
Father, give me the strength to wait upon Your promises. Help me to stay patient when the end goal seems so far out of reach. Just as I must wait for Your revelation, I pray that I learn to wait patiently with understanding for all things to come to pass in my life.
It is so by Faith and by Faith so it is. AMEN❣
