True Love Can Set You Free!

There are many who say, “O that we might see some good! Let the light of your face shine on us, O Lord!” You have put gladness in my heart more than when their grain and wine abound.

Psalm 4:6-7 NRSV

All of us at some point in our lives have experienced the feeling of loneliness. Even when we are surrounded by our own friends and family, there are times where we feel like no one can really understand what we truly feel or that no one really knows or cares about us. These are the times we hide our true selves from the world. I wish to share with you a small story from my personal life when I found myself in a similar situation. There were many times in my life, even when I was around people who truly cared about me, I felt like I did not really belong anywhere around them and so I found myself getting addicted to worthless worldly things and ran after meaningless love, even if it was only temporary, just so I could feel like I was wanted and loved. It doesn’t matter who we are, all of us at some point in our lives have searched for a place to call our home. The truth is, there is only one Love which can set us free from all our confusions and give us a Home where we can forever belong too. Which is the Love of God! His love gives us the faith to believe and His love gives us the strength to live fearlessly and Only His love can give us peace that surpasses all understanding.

He promised that only His Love can truly be with us till the end.

How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

Psalm 36:7 NIV

A small prayer with faith,

Lord, Thank you for your unfailing love in our lives. Today, I pray that you’d break every bondage of loneliness and help us to live a life pleasing to your eyes. We trust in your guidance and grace for us.

It is so by Faith, and by Faith so it is. AMEN❤
