Time Defines Who You Are!
But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.
1 Corinthians 14:40 NIV
“I’ll do it later!”
Isn’t that what most of us say most of the time? We like to put things off for later, be it from washing clothes, cleaning dishes, and other educational or career-related works. To procrastinate means to delay or to put things off for later, so many of us make it our lifestyle. There are so many of them who I personally know, who’ve put aside things for later and have faced the consequences. There are many repercussions that come along the way with our procrastination, different situations offer us varieties of consequences. People who put things off for tomorrow are missing an opportunity for a lifetime, we can never reverse time and there is no special time machine to go back to what and where we lost. Procrastinators are usually lazy people who put things off and who let laziness become a part of their life. It is important for us to mend our ways, and live the present without holding anything for tomorrow, for tomorrow is uncertain!
Go to the ant, you lazybones; consider its ways, and be wise.
Proverbs 6:6 NRSV
As the verse mentioned above, there is a good lesson to learn from these small ants that are wise and active. Interesting how these small ants can teach us life lessons, isn’t it? They could be small in our sight, but I believe they live the moment and work hard to survive, the present. They strive hard and save for the future, pretty amusing how ants can think in a futuristic manner.
Our laziness dooms our life!
We do nothing for the present nor for the future. We give way to our worries, and at times they become a reason for us to delay our day-to-day chores or even other tasks that are essential for our living. To live the moment is important, to cherish the day and to make use of the opportunities that come our way is a healthy way of living. Today, I encourage you to not delay, not to be lazy, and to seek God’s help, to live the present happily.
Stay Happy, Stay Focused!
Lord, I thank you for this new day that you’ve added to my life. I pray that you’d lead me and help me to live the moment. Help me to work hard and get rid of all my laziness and the habit of procrastination. Help me to finish the work for today. Help me to be focused.
It is so by Faith, and by Faith so it is. AMEN❤
