New Lessons, Renewed Mind!

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

During this time in quarantine, all of us have experienced many unexpected circumstances in our lives, Many things have changed and we have learned to adapt and move forward. Likewise, In our own lives, we experience a mix of both good and bad, but the way we respond to it determines our success and failure. I have learned some new lessons during this quarantine, from holding my peace in frustrations, to learning discipline and trying to grow closer to God every day. This has given me the strength to have peace even in troublesome times and taught me to bend my knees during hopeless situations.

I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

New challenges and unexpected situations are going to follow us for the rest of our lives but today I wish to encourage you to be certain that when we focus on God, He will give us the strength to face every challenge in our lives and come out victorious. Let us not be ideal anymore in any situation for it is time for us to make a comeback and enter this new year with a changed heart and a renewed mind!

And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.

Romans 5:3-5 NRSV

Lord, we thank you for your faithful love for us, we pray that you would help us to overcome every hurdle that is before us and give us a renewed mind and soul to help create a change within us and face every challenge that comes our way with the wisdom and guidance that comes from you.
