Learn To Be Kind

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Ephesians 4:32 ESV

We are surrounded by different kinds of people, differences in culture, language, manners...and we sure do leave an impact on each person we meet. sometimes we might not leave a big impact on them, but one act of kindness, a kind word, or even a smile, from us, can make them feel good and bring much joy to their face. There so many biblical stories that we remind ourselves about kindness, but nothing would be up to par if not for Jesus himself. A great example of all the good attributes that we need to inculcate, kindness is one of the most important acts that He has taught us. To be kind to everyone is s really big challenge. God is inviting us to be kind and share His love and kindness.

But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.

Luke 6:35 NRSV

This is why, today as believers in Christ, we must consider what our Lord would do in any situation before displaying the same action in every situation. Today, In our frustrations or worries, let us not forget the love God has for us.


Lord, thank you for being kind and thank you for your unfailing love. Help me to reflect your love and kindness to others in my life. May your name be glorified.
