Happy Resurrection Day

Happy Resurrection Day to our HFS fam❤️ Well, many know it as Easter, a day filled with easter eggs, bunnies and delicious food and family. That is all great and I hope you’re enjoying your beautiful Easter morning.

I want to remind you all that a sinless man died on the cross for you and I so that we could live freely knowing that whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life. Jesus died and rose again on the third day, nowhere in history has this ever happened!! “But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.” Matthew‬ ‭28:5-6‬ ‭NRSV‬‬.

It is said that history repeats itself, but this history will never ever repeat again. The Son of God who knew no sin became a sin on our behalf. He was wounded, crushed and bruised, He was slaughtered!! Jesus went through all of this, so that we could be healed and live freely through grace. Jesus has given us a beautiful gift called Grace. On this day , let us celebrate Jesus, the author of salvation, He rose and has conquered the grave. Let us together share the joy of salvation to our family, friends and neighbors. I encourage you to share this good news with at least one person today. Sow the seed and let God take care of the harvest.

Prayer of Joy

Father, we praise your name on this beautiful day. We thank you for the gift of life you blessed us with. Lord, we ask for your help to overcome every barrier in our life which hinders us from a real relationship with you. Help us to change our hearts and prepare us for your purpose to be fulfilled in our lives.
