It is indeed comforting to be assured in the midst of our storms that there is a mighty God who will hold our hand and lead the way for us. In my daily devotion, I always claim this promise for my life!
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Psalms 119:105 NKJV
However, when trouble starts stirring and in times when holding onto faith becomes hard, we often forget about God's plan for our lives and fail to recognize His will for us. By doing so, we give way for confusion and doubts to enter our mind which will compromise God's peace in our life. In Exodus 17, we read about the miracles that God did to Moses, by bringing water to the Israelite's from a rock. But before the miracle took place, I imagined myself in the place of the Israelite's and wondered how often I have questioned the presence of God in my life. When what we consider 'the conventional way' does not happen, we tend to question God's methods and even His Love for us, and that is were our faith is tested.
He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
Psalms 91:4 NKJV
God has us covered under His wings! His grace and favor surrounds us in every situation. He is aware of our every affliction, every need, our deadlines, our stories and also the hour of our miracles. I encourage you to Trust in His word and leave no room for doubt. Pray without ceasing and submit to His will for our lives.

Prayer for Trust
Gracious Father, We thank you for being our place of refuge in our times of trouble. Forgive us, when we fail to see your grace in our lives. We trust in the name of Jesus to be our shield and our source of strength. We ask you to help us keep our eyes focused on your words and promises for our lives, and to lead us according to your Will for us.
It is so by Faith and by Faith so it is. AMEN❣
