Don’t Worry About Tomorrow

So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:34 NRSV

Often, we worry so much about the future, but we have to learn to take it one day at a time. This is because, worrying about tomorrow does nothing, but takes away the peace that we have today. We should always learn to live in the present and trust each step that we are about to take as God is with us.

There would be no room for us to worry when we trust the Lord our God wholeheartedly.

Tomorrow’s battle will happen tomorrow. Meanwhile, all we have to do is to trust God in each step that we take. Don’t try to fight tomorrow’s battle today, as it only drifts us away from the blessings that we are about to receive today. Rather than worrying about tomorrow, we should surrender our worries to the Lord and pray about it.

And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? And why do you worry about clothing?... Matthew 6:27-28 NRSV

Sometimes we need to contemplate what worrying could possibly produce in our life! Probably countless health issues that would not just burden us, but also our close ones. The next time we start worrying about something that is out of our control, let’s learn to place all our worries and burdens on the Lord. Pray about it and let God do His miracles.

Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 NRSV

Prayer For Strength

Dear Father, help me to put you first in every area of my life. Help me to live one day at a time. Help me to not worry about tomorrow but instead focus on what you’re doing in my life right now. I want to trust in your promise to take care of every one of my needs, financial, relational, physical, social, spiritual, and emotional. Help me to trust you more and worry less.

It is so by Faith and by Faith so it is. AMEN❣

-Michelle❣
